Jimmy Herring of Widespread Panic at The Capitol Theatre, March 2019
On March 6, Widespread Panic announced they would be highlighted on a new TV documentary series called American Music Spotlight.
The series will focus on the Georgia band’s sold-out 2019 run at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY.
According to the band, “live concert footage [will be] mixed with venue historians and band members, providing insights and context on both the theaters and the band.”
Widespread Panic also recently announced that along with a new studio LP, their March 24 performance at The Cap will be released as a new live record, accurately dubbed Sunday Show.
“It was a pretty special night,” bassist Dave Schools said in a recent interview. “The band’s pretty cookin’ now, and the crowd was on our side.”
