Ahead of Mar. 3’s Super Tuesday (during which fourteen states, plus American Samoa, will hold their Democratic primaries), banjo master Béla Fleck has announced that he will appear at two rallies for Bernie Sanders.
Both rallies will take place in Massachusetts. The first – tonight, Feb. 28 – will take place at 7:30 p.m. ET in Springfield, Mass. at the MassMutual Center Exhibition A/B. The second rally will occur on Feb. 29 in the Boston Common in Boston, Mass., beginning at 12 p.m. ET.
The events are free and open to the public, but those who wish to attend are encouraged to RSVP. To RSVP to the Springfield rally (and for more information), click here; for Boston, click here.

March 1, 2020 at 2:59 amDisappointed that a great talent such as Bela Fleck is putting his money on the wrong commie horse. I hate DJT however the dems certainly haven’t learned dick from 2016. Instead of being circumspect they keep blaming others for their failures especially the Russian boogeyman all while they advocate for Soviet style governance. Oh the irony.

February 29, 2020 at 3:53 pmOh, no need for that. Bela is an incredible musician. It is separating the art from the artist, as one always must. It is never a good idea to look to closely in this respect. Best to keep the music pure that way.
I’m sorry I sounded off and contributed to the open sewer that is contemporary online culture. Opinions and some part of the human anatomy…
‘Aint no time to hate. Be the peace as we move forward.

February 29, 2020 at 10:33 amSadly another example of the far left reliance on celebrities to pander their populist fantasies. Not sure why jambands.com even allows this content on the site when it seems to be so polarizing and doesn’t even cover the artist or the artist views… there was a link to an artist interview but this again wasn’t the focus. The focus is political. Maybe jambands.com has an agenda??? Hmmmmm.

February 28, 2020 at 9:49 pmEither his publicist decided this was a good idea or his wife really does to pull his chain with an iron fist as rumored or he doesnt realize his audience does not consist of ignorant children.

February 28, 2020 at 9:10 pmThe level of historical & economical ignorance required to support this loon is breathtaking. I’m no trump supporter but to vote for this lying cynical tyrant wannabe means you are an easily led and eternally ignorant moron.

February 28, 2020 at 7:16 pmI really don’t get why all of you trumpy a-holes are on a jamband website. Go back to following some shitty country singer and leave the real music people alone.

February 28, 2020 at 1:32 pmI had thought Bela was a survivor of Hungary’s goulash communism, but instead I found he was a red diaper baby from NYC. Well, then it makes sense that he would do this. “Socialism” is all wonderful and the best- except for all the examples of failure throughout the 20t/21st century. Yet another great mind turned to mush. Sad.

February 28, 2020 at 7:51 pmDon’t forget about all those wonderful “failures” of democratic socialism in the 20th and 21st century with people far happier and healthier than citizens of the US, which is what Bernie and anyone with a heart is after…
Useful Idiot
February 28, 2020 at 9:57 pmYeah they are dancing in the streets of Venezuela. So are the 30 million Russian dead. And 60 million chinese dead. Of course yours is the kind of ignorance necessary to support him.
