The roving Laid Back Festival will make two stops this summer in New York and New Jersey, with performances by headliners Steve Miller Band and Brian Wilson (alongside original Beach Boy bandmate Al Jardine as well as Blondie Chaplin).

Additional performers include Marty Stuart and His Fabulous Superlatives, the Taj Mahal Quartet, Gary Mule Deer, and Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe performing their Allman Brothers-themed “Eat A Bunch of Peaches” set.

The Laid Back Festival will take place on Aug. 8 at the Norwell Health at Jones Beach Theatre and Aug. 9 at the PNC Band Arts Center.

Billed as a “celebration of music and food,” each single-day event will feature regional restaurants, food tucks, breweries and wineries.
