Bob Weir & Wolf Bros closed out their five-night residency at Sweetwater Music Hall on Saturday, welcoming Jeff Chimenti, Matt Jaffe and Barry Sless over two sets of Grateful Dead favorites.

After a “Tennessee Jed” opener, the trio invited Chimenti to add keys to a mid-set version of “The Music Never Stopped,” complete with a segue in and out of the mid-’90s cut “Easy Answers.”

From there, the band closed their first frame with a rollicking “Going Down The Road Feelin’ Bad” with Mill Valley local Jaffe on guitar.

“You Win Again” and “The Race Is On” kicked off set two, with an introduction by longtime GD affiliate Big Steve Parish and additional slide work by Sless.

Weir, Don Was and Jay Lane closed out the half themselves with favorites like “Bertha,” “Estimated Prophet” and “Standing on the Moon,” before ending with a classic pairing of “China Cat Sunflower”> “I Know You Rider.”

Jaffe returned once again for the appropriate encore of “One More Saturday Night.”

“Thanks to all the folks at Sweetwater Music Hall for making us feel at home all week and thanks to everyone who came out and watched online for bearing with me as I sang through the flu these past few nights,” Weir wrote afterwards.
