Doom Flamingo – featuring Umphrey’s McGee bassist Ryan Stasik, as well as vocalist Kanika Moore, guitarist Thomas Kenney, keyboardist Ross Bogan, drummer Stu White and saxophonist Mike Quinn – have released a new, synth-laden single dubbed, “Somebody.”

As per a press release, Kenney describes the track as “eating dripping wet ice cream with your girl at beach,” as if you were in “an over-sexualized Bryer’s commercial from 1986.”

Moore, on the other hand, says it’s the perfect track for a drive “in the car on the way to see your lover or to remind you of the best you’ve ever had.”
