Steve Miller Band and Marty Stuart and His Fabulous Superlatives announce a 40-city summer American Tour, with support from Gary Mule Deer. The tour will begin on June 13 in Austin, Texas, right after Miller is inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame on June 11 in New York. The tour will end on Sept. 4 in Puyallup, Wash.

There will be select dates featuring Brian Wilson and Taj Mahal, and four Canadian shows featuring a young, new songwriter and guitarist, Matthew Curry.

In a press release, Miller said, “Touring with Marty and the Superlatives is inspirational. This is undoubtedly one of the most talented touring combinations I’ve ever been involved in.” He continued: “We look forward to continuing working together to explore the roots of American Music. Adding the musical comedy of Gary Mule Deer to the show will be an unexpected treat for our fans. I’m delighted to be able to tour with these great artists and to bring the Steve Miller Band audience the best of the best.”
