The 2005 Jammy Awards, held at the Theatre at Madison Square Garden in New York City, produced some incredible collaborations, including Buddy Guy, Questlove and John Mayer teaming up with Phil Lesh (the evening’s host) for a jam on “Hoochie Coochie Man.”

Lesh was involved in another massive collaboration during the evening, this time teaming up with fellow bass titans Les Claypool and Mike Gordon for a performance of Claypool’s “D’s Diner.” The bassists were also joined by drummer Joe Russo (who was still a few years out from joining Lesh in Furthur), keyboardist Marco Benevento and multi-instrumentalist Gabby La La (who is seen in the video playing a sitar).
