Via social media, Gorillaz have teased a collaboration with Tame Impala.

The animated band’s fictional guitarist, Noodle, posted Tame Impala’s Currents album with Gorillaz superimposed over it and tagged Tame Impala in the Instagram caption. The band’s official Instagram account further hinted at a collab by commenting “Kev?????” on the post, referencing Kevin Parker, the man behind Tame Impala.

Just a few days ago, Gorillaz launched their new project, Song Machine, a streak of collaborative singles that will be released throughout the year. The first release was “Momentary Bliss” featuring British rapper slowthai and UK punk duo Slaves.

Meanwhile, Tame Impala recently shared music video for “Lost In Yesterday.”
