On Feb. 11, FLAX will play an intimate album release show at New York City’s Joe’s Pub. His self-titled EP will be released on Feb. 7.

The show will also feature Zack Feinberg of The Revivalists, who produced the album.

The four-song EP “offers an unflinching birds-eye view of modern-day life’s highs and lows, with a slyly self-effacing, sometimes jaundiced eye, framing such topics as social media, addiction, mortality, and identity,” according to a press release.

“I’m 33 years old, and after 10 years as a director/producer/journalist, I’ve realized that it’s never too late to start something new,” said FLAX himself (via press release). “In fact, now is as good a time as ever based on where I’m at.”
