On Jan. 21, Wilco completed the third and final night of their Sky Blue Sky event at the Hard Rock Hotel in Riviera Maya, Mexico.

The show commenced with a tour debut of “When You Wake Up Feeling Old.” Later on, they busted out several other tour debuts such as “Cold Slope” and “Kind of You” followed by a Loose Fur cover of “Laminated Cat.” Never failing to keep their shows interesting, Eric Slick from Dr. Dog then sat in on percussion for “California Stars” dressed in his resort robe and all.

The 22-song set ended with “A Shot in the Arm” (tour debut). The four-song encore consisted of “Outtasite (Outta Mind),” “Candyfloss” (tour debut), “I’m a Wheel,” and finally, “The Thanks I Get” (tour debut), which hadn’t been played since 2016.

This was Wilco’s first time embarking on a journey to the destination beach festival in Riviera Maya, and they were able to successfully perform three headlining shows without a single repeat in songs.
