On Jan. 24, Austin-based rock band The Cuckoos will release their debut album, I Hate Love. The next day, Jan. 25, they will play an album release show at Cheer Up Charlies in Austin, Texas.

I Hate Love was produced by Austin’s very own Chris “Frenchie” Smith, and recorded at The Bubble. The young band, made up of Kenneth Frost, Dave North, Eric Ross and Cole Koenning, had previously released a self-titled EP, but I Hate Love marks their first full-length release. A press release notes that “the diverse ten-song outing crackles with the electricity of The Cuckoos coming into their own.”

Ahead of I Hate Love‘s release, The Cuckoos released music videos for some of the singles, including “We Can Take A Trip to Another Day.” Check out the video for that song below!
