On Dec. 14, Dopapod played their second of two nights at the Paradise Rock Club in Boston, Mass. The first set was highlighted by a cover of Joe Walsh’s “Life’s Been Good.”

The homecoming to Boston meant a great deal to the band; the members met and formed Dopapod while they were students at the Berklee College of Music, which is located just two miles away from the Paradise. This also marks the band’s first return to their old stomping grounds since their hiatus, which began after their New Year’s Eve show in 2017.

Dec. 13’s show featured a debut of a new original tune, “Time Is Funny,” as well as a stand-out segment of “New James” -> “Faba” to open the second set. On Dec. 14, in addition to the Joe Walsh cover, the band performed “Give It A Name” for the first time since Dec. 31, 2017 – meaning this was the first performance of the song since the band resumed playing this past April.

Dopapod continues their Emit Time tour on Dec. 27 in Asheville, N.C. For more information, head to dopapod.com.
