On Monday, Dec. 9, Vulfpeck revisited one of the career highwater marks with the debut of a full-concert video from their Sept. 28, Madison Square Garden debut.
The sold-out, single-set show featured a slew of Vulfpeck favorites, from the opening “Animal Spirits” to the dual encore of “Birds of a Feather We Rock Together” and “It Gets Funkier.”
It also included a sit-in by drummer Nate Smith on “Daddy He Got A Tesla,” as well as “two of the world’s current virtuosos on tiny small instruments” Chris Thile (mandolin) and Dave Koz (sopranino saxophone) on “Smile Meditation.”
