From May 23 to 25, the Eagles and The Doobie Brothers will join forces for an intimate, oceanside destination event in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
The event will be limited to 5,000 attendees, and it promises a “once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience two nights of unforgettable beachfront performances in the beautiful Cabo Corridor.” The Doobie Brothers will perform a full show on Saturday, May 23, followed by “An Evening with the Eagles” on May 24.
The Doobie Brothers are currently celebrating their 50th anniversary with the return of singer Michael McDonald, marking the first time their classic lineup has reunited in 25 years.
The Eagles, meanwhile, have been enjoying their successful Hotel California performances in Las Vegas, as well as their corresponding tour to be offered in early 2020.
An American Express presale for the Eagles/Doobie Brothers Mexican event will take place from Monday, Dec. 9 to Thursday, Dec. 19. General on-sale will begin Friday, Dec. 20 at 10 a.m. PT.

December 5, 2019 at 5:42 pmR-Rod / SP: Make that $30 for any shows in the foreseeable future, unless this tour bombs, and Ticketmaster lures the grey haired ponytails in with “get ’em while you can” $20 lawnseats. So yeah, I’ll show up night of show and take that extra for an Old Milwaukee pal.

December 4, 2019 at 10:31 amthe bigger question is the dates. unless you are flying in from Alaska, who needs Mexico and the sun and warmth in May? Also probably the cheapest low-season for regular all-inclusive hotel packages down there. it ain’t March Break, or sometime in Jan. or Feb. when the lure of beaches and surf is all the more. The Eagles were the first Rock Band (Not the Stones) to charge exorbitant prices ($300.00 per, for most seats included the shitty ones, many years ago). Whether I’m Bill gates, or living in a dumpster, we take a big PASS on this one.
P.S. The Doobies once can see, for about $30 bucks easily on most nights, before their recent resurgence and tour last summer.

December 3, 2019 at 2:51 pmThe old adage applies, “if you have to ask, you can’t afford it…” And don’t forget the fees, it ensures a good mix of the rich & ignorant in attendance.
