Leftover Salmon’s Drew Emmitt and Vince Herman, Larry Keel, Aquarium Rescue Unit’s Jeff Sipe and Ike Stubblefield are among the acts slated to appear at The 9th Annual Holiday Hootenanny. This year’s celebration will take place at Atlanta’s Variety Playhouse on Wednesday, December 18, benefiting Atlanta Habitat.

The evening will present a number of unique artist configurations, including a tribute to the “life, spirit and energy” of the pioneering jazz pianist and longtime Atlanta resident Johnny Knapp, led by by Jez Graham.

Other confirmed performers include: Rev. Jeff Mosier (ARU, Blueground Undergrass), Jason Carter (The Del McCoury Band, The Travelin’ McCourys), Steve McMurry (Acoustic Syndicate), Donna Hopkins. The State Birds featuring Neal Fountain, Mike Seal & Bryan Lopes, Darren Stanley (Madrid Express, Jimmy Herring & the 5 of 7), Daniel Wytanis Joey “Papa J” Sommerville, Kevin Thomas. Richie Jones, Bobby Miller. Matthew Williams. Jared Womack. Gaurav Malhotra and Bill Fleming. Wildman Steve will serve as the event’s emcee. 

The night will also boast a silent auction, promising “many musically inclined items as well as those that are non-musical.” Fans will also be able to bid on the silent auction online for the first time.
