Terrapin Chamber Ensemble has announced a show – billed as “Songs To Fill The Sanctuary” – in the Synagogue Sanctuary at the Museum at Eldridge Street in New York City. The show is set for Dec. 15.
The ensemble, which is the brainchild of vocalist/mandolinist/orchestrator David Bryan and drummer/percussionist/vocalist Noah Lehrman is an acoustic project dedicated to the music of the Grateful Dead. According to a press release, the group is known for their “unique arrangements, four part harmonies, instrumental virtuosity, classic strings and one-of-a-kind settings.”
The ensemble’s lineup for this night of music includes Kenny Brooks of RatDog on saxophone, Scott Guberman (Phil Lesh & Friends) on keys and vocals, Zach Nugent (Melvin Seals and JGB) on lead guitar and vocals and many more.
