Dark Star Orchestra’s annual family reunion – the Dark Star Jubilee – will return in 2020 at Legend Valley in Thornville, Ohio.
As always, DSO will headline all three nights of the event (May 22-24) and additional acts will be announced in the coming weeks.
“We don’t have ATM machines, we don’t sell warm beer for $8.00. It’s a BYOB festival and you can walk right up to the stage with your cooler and a chair and have a good time,” DSO guitarist Rob Eaton said of the festival in 2018. “We have a big family section. We have kid parades and drum circles, and we try to make it as family-friendly as we can.”
Presale tickets for the Dark Star Jubilee will go on sale Friday, Nov. 15 at 12 Noon ET.

November 18, 2019 at 10:09 amI haven’t seen DSO in a few years now so I’m not some kind of superfan but Jerry Band was at least half covers so wtf man?
I swear jam band fans are the absolute worst.

November 19, 2019 at 3:27 pmYour ignorance is obvious Charles. Unless you are like others here…and not the real jamband fans…that like to get a rise out of folks you have no idea what you are talking about. First, of the 100’s of Dead shows I have seen less than half of each is original music. Second, if I can see a group of talented musicians playing great music, I go. Sorry if you don;t get that. probably never will.
