Singer-songwriter Jonathan Wilson has released a new music video for his single, “’69 Corvette.”

According to Wilson, “’69 Corvette” encapsulates “a trip back in time to my youth in North Carolina; growing up playing guitars, messing around with old Chevys, getting drunk for the first time…It’s a song about traveling and seeking fame and fortune. Most of all, it’s a song about my family, my people, who I love very much. Check out the tear-jerking fiddle by the one and only Mark O’Connor.”

In addition to his solo output, Wilson has previously worked as a producer and creative collaborator with the likes of Roger Waters, Lana Del Rey, Erykah Badu, Father John Misty and more.

“I always feel fortunate to witness Jonathan during the recording process and capture the new songs coming to life,” adds video director Grant James.  “Though this video is mainly comprised of documentary footage, I was excited to find a subtle visual theme that threads together memories of the past and present day life,” says James.
