The latest single from Australian rocker Courtney Barnett is a cover of “Keep On” from her Milk Records label mates Loose Change that will appear on the label’s upcoming covers compilation, Milk on Milk, which challenges the Milk artists to record renditions of each other’s tunes.

The song, which can be heard below, finds Barnett making the Loose Change tune truly her own, infusing the kind of guitar-fueled, slacker-rock ethos that Barnett has perfected in her music. Pre-orders for the Milk on Milk compilation can be found here.

Barnett has also announced that Milk Records will be hosting its own Xmas Party with music from Barnett, Loose Tooth and Hachiku, set for Dec. 22 at the Northcote Social Club in Victoria, Australia. More information is available at the venue’s website.
