Umphrey’s McGee have shared a pro-shot “40’s Theme” from their August 10 sold-out gig in their hometown of Chicago, utilizing dizzying 4K 360° technology.
“Director Pete Herzog wanted to take old and new fans on a roller coaster ride to match the song’s potent riffs, crowd participation and varying time signatures,” reads the video description. “The 360° OverCapture technique balances this avant garde song with equal innovative editorial techniques by Flight School’s own Chris Collins.”
Previously, UM shared a 360° pro-shot of “Push & Pull” from the same gig.
