Gov’t Mule continued their 2019 touring slate on Thursday evening with a performance at the Palace Theatre in Albany, NY, and the group welcomed drummer Jerry Marotta, who resides in nearby Woodstock, in last night’s second set.

After kicking off the performance with “Traveling Tune Pt. 1” (which would eventually serve as a bookend to the two sets along with the “Pt. 2” that closed the second frame) and running through staples like “Mule” and “Revolution Come, Revolution Go,” the band followed up second set opener “Wondering Child” by welcoming out Marotta—who swapped in for drummer Matt Abts—for a run of “What is Hip?” Last night’s show later wrapped up with an encore of “Dark Was the Night.”

Check out the full setlist below, along with fan-shot video of the Marotta collaboration and encore via YouTube user Sean Roche (more videos available here). Next up for Gov’t Mule is a show this evening in McKees Rocks, PA. See their full schedule here.
