Jason Isbell brought his 400 Unit to Red Rocks Amphitheatre on Tuesday for a performance at the famed Colorado venue, and the Americana star reprised his collaboration with songwriting icon David Crosby during both Crosby’s opening set as well as Isbell’s own headlining turn.

After joining Crosby for “Wooden Ships,” a tune that Crosby penned with Stephen Stills and Jefferson Airplane’s Paul Kantner, during Crosby’s band’s supporting performance, Isbell and The 400 Unit ran through a set of staples from their catalog—like “24 Frames,” “If We Were Vampires” and “Flying Over Water”—as well as two cuts from Isbell’s time with the Drive-By Truckers, “Goddamn Lonely Love” and “Decoration Day.”

After a run of “Cover Me Up,” Isbell and company welcomed out Crosby for a powerful take on Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young’s classic protest song, “Ohio,” one of the tunes (along with the aforementioned “Wooden Ships”) that they performed together at Newport Folk Festival last year. The 400 Unit’s Red Rocks performance then wrapped up with a two-song encore of “Maybe It’s Time” and a cover of Fleetwood Mac’s “Oh Well.”

Check out Isbell’s full setlist below, along with fan-shot footage of his collaborations with Crosby. Isbell and his band continue their tour this evening in Vail, CO. See their full upcoming schedule here.
