In the midst of supporting his acclaimed release Country Squire, Tyler Childers will make a stop at Kentucky’s Appalachian Wireless Arena on Dec. 28 and Dec. 31 for a two-night New Year’s celebration.

The run will act as a homecoming for Childers, who grew up in the Bluegrass State.

“I hope that people in the area that I grew up in find something they can relate to,” the musician said via press release. “I hope that I’m doing my people justice and I hope that maybe someone from somewhere else can get a glimpse of the life of a Kentucky boy.”

Tickets for Childers’ New Year’s run will go on sale Sept. 20 at 10 a.m. ET.
