The third-annual Allman Family Revival will once again celebrate the birthday of late Allman Brothers Band co-founder Gregg Allman with an expanded three-show offering across the country this December. The events will be hosted by Allman’s son Devon, who will also lead his group, The Allman Betts Band, along with an all-star cast of musicians.

Joining the new ABB at the shows will be Eric Krasno, Robert Randolph, Cheap Trick’s Robin Zander, Todd Park Mohr of Big Head Todd & The Monsters, Samantha Fish, Jimmy Hall, Jimmy Vivino and more (Note: some musicians will only be appearing at certain dates).

The Family Revival shows will kick off Dec. 7 at The Fillmore in San Francisco before moving to Denver’s Mission Ballroom the following evening for Gregg Allman’s actual birthday. The trio of performances will later round out in New York City on Dec. 28 with an offering at the Beacon Theatre.

Tickets for the Allman Family Revival shows go on sale this Friday, Sept. 13, at noon. A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales will go to School of Rock to help fund after-school music programs.
