After delaying their July New Orleans gig due to severe weather, The Rolling Stones will once again reschedule a show on their No Filter tour, as Hurricane Dorian heads to Miami.
The iconic band’s Saturday, tour-closing performance at the Hard Rock Stadium will be moved up to Friday Aug. 30, marking their first Miami gig since 2005.
“Strengthening is forecast during the next few days, and Dorian is expected to become a major hurricane on Friday, and remain an extremely dangerous hurricane through the weekend,” the National Hurricane Center said on Thursday.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis declared a state of emergency on Wednesday.
“I will continue to monitor Hurricane Dorian closely with emergency management officials. The state stands ready to support all counties along the coast as they prepare,” he said in a statement.
All tickets for the band’s Saturday gig will be honored on Friday, and according to the band, “Ticket holders will be receiving an email from Ticketmaster with more information.”
