Umphrey’s McGee continued their summer tour in Wilmington, NC, on Sunday evening with a performance at Greenfield Lake Amphitheater, and the group offered a couple of choice covers during their two sets, including their first collective rendition of a Wilco classic.

The debut occurred in the middle of the first set, when Wilco offered their take on Wilco’s “Handshake Drugs,” off the latter band’s landmark 2004 album, A Ghost is Born. UM guitarist Brendan Bayliss had previously performed the tune in his 30db duo with late mandolinist/songwriter Jeff Austin.

Set two featured some setlist acrobatics, including recurring sections of “Wappy Sprayberry” and “Ocean Billy,” plus a return to “Handshake Drugs” and another first-set song, “Attachments.” The middle of the frame also saw Umphrey’s dig into their cover of The New Deal’s “Home” for only the second time ever after debuting the rendition in April 2014.

Check out the full setlist below as it appears in our Box Scores section. Next up for Umphrey’s McGee is an Aug. 22 in Chattanooga, TN. See their upcoming dates here.
