The Avett Brothers will release their new studio album, Closer Than Together, on Oct. 4, and the group stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live in Los Angeles this week to perform a couple of their recent singles.

Along with bouncy lead Closer Than Together single “High Steppin’,” the Avetts offered their emotional late-2018 standalone single, “Trouble Letting Go.”
