In a new message to his “Neil Young Archives” fan club, Neil Young has decided that he will pause his touring schedule and focus on a number of film projects that demand he be “in the editing suites for the duration of 2019.”
Young is currently working on 15 different films, chronicling several different eras of his career like recording his famed Harvest LP to live tours with Crazy Horse.
In May 2019, Young revealed Crazy Horse will be releasing their first album since 2012, dubbed Colorado. According to the musician, Colorado “stands out as one of the most diverse albums” he’s ever made, and features 11 new tracks that range from lengths of 3 to 14 minutes. However, while Young initially said they would tour in support of the new LP, plans have changed and his films have taken top priority.
As per Rolling Stone here are the 15 projects Young is working on, and a little on what they’re about:

August 2, 2019 at 5:05 pmNeil disappoints me again! Was looking forward to seeing Crazy Horse again! Never saw them live with Nils Lofgren. I wonder how Crazy Horse feels or are they used to Neil’s temperament.
TRANS?

August 2, 2019 at 2:06 pmHa, ha… I remember as a teen, signing up for the Columbia House buy 1, get 13 albums for a penny and finding a Neil Young album… I was excited because I knew the name from the Live Rust album I’d heard most of my young life… like you, when I got it I was like… what the hell is this? Maybe the movies offer apologies to those who paid money (even a penny) for the album and for the tour!
