Back in 2017, The Contribution—a collective featuring Railroad Earth’s Time Carbone, ALO’s Steve Adams, New Monsoon’s Jeff Miller and Phil Ferlino, vocalist Sheryl Renee and Great American Taxi’s Will Trask—released most of the tracks from their studio album Wilderness and Space, and the full effort will be available Aug. 23 via LoHi Records, with the band playing a few Colorado shows in celebration.

The group will kick off the short run Aug. 22 at Washington’s in Fort Collins before moving to Ophelia’s Electric Soapbox in Denver the following evening and KBUT Kampout in Gunnison Aug. 24.

The Contribution’s 2017 tracks each helped benefit different organizations, including the Rex Foundation, Conscious Alliance, HeadCount, Rock the Earth and more. Since the band’s debut album in 2010, leaders Carbone, Miller and Ferlino have enlisted the help of String Cheese Incident bassist Keith Moseley, Widespread Panic drummer Duane Trucks, Everyone Orchestra leader/drummer Matt Butler and more.

More information and tickets to the three Colorado shows can be found at the band’s website.
