Fruition have announced a new 45 series with the track “Alone Together,” the first of an ongoing series of studio singles that will be released digitally and on 7″ vinyl.

The “Alone Together” single, which Fruition debuted during their New Year’s Eve run in Colorado this past winter, will also featured a B-side of the previously unheard tune “Snapdragon,” which will be available digitally Aug. 2. The 7″ single is expected to be available at Fruition’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre show with The Wood Brothers Sept. 5.

“‘Alone Together’ is about the huge (and often overlooked) importance of listening,” says the song’s writer, Kellen Asebroek. “When people are at their lowest, one of the most important things we can do to help is just be there and be present. It’s amazing how far an empathetic open ear and heart can help lift someone out of the fog of depression. Reach out to your friends!  We weren’t meant to go it alone.”

The ongoing 45 series is Fruition’s way of getting out the music that otherwise would be left on the studio’s cutting room floor.

“We already have four different 45’s planned out, with each release containing two tracks,” Asebroek says. “The beauty of this is that we can really release ANYTHING we want, without worrying about it fitting on an album. Some of them will be songs that we’ve played for years live and never recorded, some will be things your ears have never heard. Got a favorite you’d love to hear given proper studio treatment? Don’t sleep on these 45’s.”
