LOCKN’ has added a new batch of collaborative sets to their 2019 lineup, including “Soulive with Infinity Horns, Cory Wong and The Revivalists Horns with Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, John Kadlecik with Melvin Seals & JGB, John Popper of Blues Traveler with Twiddle, The Soul Rebels with Steel Pulse, and Mikaela Davis with Bob Weir & Wolf Bros featuring Susan Tedeschi.”
Additionally, bassist Oteil Burbridge has firmed up the lineup for his Oteil & Friends set, bringing Bob Weir, Devon Allman, Duane Betts, Melvin Seals, Neal Casal, Eric Krasno, Jennifer Hartswick, Natalie Cressman, and Jay Lane all entering the fold.
And while his band is not playing the event, guitar phenom Marcus King will be a special guest/artist-at-large on Sunday, Aug. 25. “The possibilities are gigantic and limitless,” the festival says.
LOCKN’ is scheduled for Aug. 22-25 in Arrington, Va. Scheduled performers include Tedeschi Trucks Band, Trey Anastasio Band, Bob Weir & Wolf Bros, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, Gary Clark Jr., Old Crow Medicine Show, Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit and many more.
