Next month, multiple professional baseball teams around the country will celebrate the legacy of the Grateful Dead with a few themed nights at their respective stadiums.

First up on Aug. 6, the Boston Red Sox will host Jerry Day, a tribute to late Dead guitarist Jerry Garcia (whose birthday is Aug. 1 and who passed away on Aug. 9, 1995). Fans will be able to pick up Garcia-themed Red Sox t-shirts, with a portion of the proceeds from the game going to the Grateful Dead’s Rex Foundation.

On Aug. 9, the anniversary of Garcia’s death, his hometown San Francisco Giants will host a Grateful Dead Tribute Night, which will also benefit the Rex Foundation. The night will feature music and Dead-themed Giants merchandise.

Finally, the Washington Nationals will host their own Grateful Dead Night in the nation’s capital on Aug. 13. The event will include a Dead tribute band playing before the game, and fans in attendance will receive a Dead-themed Nationals cap. Once again, a portion of the proceeds will go to the Rex Foundation.
