Widespread Panic played their second headlining set at Colorado’s scenic RIDE Festival on Saturday night, bringing their tune “L.A.” back into rotation for the first time since 2016.

Feeding off the festival’s celebratory atmosphere, WSP kicked things off with fan favorite “Ribs & Whiskey,” before moving through “Sundown Betty” and “Holden Oversoul.”

Later in the band’s single set, a cover of “Jesus Just Left Chicago” gave way to “Little Kin,” “Action Man,” Thought Sausage” and “Gradle.”

Then, perhaps the evening’s standout segment came with a three-part jam through “L.A.”> “Diner”> “Use Me.” As previously mentioned “L.A.” made its first appearance since September 16, 2016 (show gap: 106), and the Ain’t Life Grand tune bled perfectly into a rocking “Diner,” giving guitarist Jimmy Herring plenty of room to jam before singer-guitarist John Bell put his signature growl on their version of Bill Withers’ “Use Me.”

“May Your Glass Be Filled” allowed the band to get pensive for a moment, but eventually the energy spiked once more for a final take on “I’m So Glad,” capturing both the audience and the band’s appreciation for a wonderful weekend in Telluride, Colo.

“Thank you Telluride. You were as beautiful as ever,” bassist Dave Schools wrote on Instagram following the gig.
