The String Cheese Incident returned to the Fox Theatre stage in Atlanta, GA, on Saturday evening for the second of two shows at the venue, and the band welcomed local vocalist Rhonda Thomas to the stage for a few tunes throughout the night.

Thomas first emerged in the middle of set one, when the singer lent her talents to a cover of Amy Winehouse’s version of “Valerie,” originally by English group The Zutons. Thomas also fronted the band on the cover during their 2018 appearance at Florida’s Hulaween festival.

Thomas would later return to join SCI in opening the second set with a nod to the late Col. Bruce Hampton (in his hometown of Atlanta) with “Yield Not to Temptation” before returning for one last sit in during the band’s encore cover of Stevie Wonder’s “I Wish.”
