On Wednesday evening, Gov’t Mule brought their summer tour to Highland Brewing Company in Asheville, NC, for a hometown show for frontman Warren Haynes, and the group invited a couple of longtime friends to the stage to mark the occasion.

First up was saxophonist Ron Holloway, a frequent Mule collaborator, who emerged near the end of set one to help out Mule with “Devil Likes It Slow.” Later in the show, Mule emerged for their encore accompanied by both Holloway and local Asheville guitarist Mike Barnes, a childhood friend of Haynes. The collective ran through Mule live staples “Soulshine” and “Feel Like Breaking Up Somebody’s Home” to close out the performance.

Check out the full setlist below as it appears in our Box Scores section. Mule continue their summer schedule tomorrow night, July 5, in Charlotte, NC.
