On Aug. 22, Nels Cline (Wilco), Vernon Reid (Living Colour) Brandon Seabrook and Joel Harrison will assemble as the Alternative Guitar Summit at Brooklyn Bowl for a celebration of 50 years of the Woodstock Festival.

The show promises surprise guests, as well as Cline performing the music of Santana, Reid channeling Janis Joplin and Sly Stone, Seabrook playing The Who and Ten Years After and, finally, Harrison honoring Richie Havens and the Grateful Dead.

Two days later, a similar lineup (plus JRAD guitarist Scott Metzger) will continue the celebration and play an Alternative Guitar Summit in Woodstock, NY.
