Rising bluegrass outfit The Lil Smokies have shared a new pro-shot video, showcasing a wonderful cover of Dawes’ “When My Time Comes” with Greensky Bluegrass mandolinist Paul Hoffman.
The cut comes from The Lil Smokies new concert LP, Live at the Bluebird, which was recorded over two nights (Nov. 29 and Dec. 1, 2018) this winter.
In addition to a standout solo taken by Smokies dobroist Andy Dunnigan, the vocals on the performance really shine, as each musician’s voice blends into the other.
