This morning, Bon Iver released two new tracks, “Hey, Ma” and “U (Man Like),” featuring an array of guests including Bruce Hornsby, along with announcing a batch of North American tour dates for this fall.

Both new tunes showcase Justin Vernon’s signature expansive yet introspective aesthetic, with “Hey, Ma” reminiscent of the more subdued tracks on 2016’s 22, A Million and “U (Man Like)” fueled by lead piano from Hornsby. The songs also feature contributions from Moses Sumney, Jenn Wasner, Elsa Jensen, Psymun, Phil Cook, the Brooklyn Youth Chorus and more.

Vernon has announced that the band that will be joining him for the fall dates, which kick off with previously announced appearances in Montana (with Indigo Girls), Vail, CO, and Red Rocks Amphitheatre (both with Sharon Van Etten), will include new member Wasner, plus Bon Iver live-band members Sean Carey, Matthew McCaughan, Michael Lewis and Andrew Fitzpatrick. The tour will also hit stops in the Northwest, California, Midwest and East Coast, including at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center (with opener Yo La Tengo) and Boston’s TD Garden. The tour will include support from Feist in the latter portion of the dates.
