The Rock and Roll Playhouse will continue their series of family-friendly concert programming with a special nationwide celebration on Father’s Day weekend in June featuring “The Music of the Grateful Dead for Kids,” and the celebration has now expanded to include Charleston, SC’s Pour House, bringing the total show count to 27 events across 24 cities.

Originally based in just two venues around New York City—Brooklyn Bowl and Garcia’s at The Capitol Theatre—The Rock and Roll Playhouse now extends across the country, and the Father’s Day Grateful Dead gatherings will take place June 15 and 16 in cities like Austin, Atlanta, Boulder, Chicago, Los Vegas, Los Angeles, Nashville, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Seattle and Washington, DC, among others.

The performances will feature special guests like David Gans and members of the Barton Hills Choir, Sunshine Becker of JGB, Stella Blues Band, Catfish John, Steal Your Peach, Franklin Turnpike and more.
