Steve Kimock & Friends are hitting the road this fall to celebrate a quarter century of making music.

Kimock will be joined by keyboardist Jeff Chimenti, bassist Reed Mathis and drummer John Morgan Kimock for the four-show outing.

As per a recent press release, “It’s a hell of a band, and in September they’re going to take a short jaunt around the Northeast to celebrate.” The band promises “Tender ballads and psychedelic crashbang, music suitable to meditate by and deep improvisation that sounds like electric versions of John Coltrane, swampy funk grooves and crystalline rock and roll.”
