Buddy Guy made a surprise appearance at the one-day Greenwich Town Party on May 25, jumping onstage with Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenue.

The acclaimed guitarist performed a blues medley with the band, which included ’70s Stax single “Cheaper To Keep Her” (originally recorded by Johnny Taylor).

Trombone Shorty had previously performed at the Connecticut event in 2013; Guy performed there in 2014, as well as the inaugural Greenwich Town Party in 2011.
