An unexpected schedule change at this weekend’s Summer Camp Music Festival in Chillicothe, Ill. brought moe. and Pigeons Playing Ping Pong together for a special “all-star jam” on Friday night.

“Due to travel issues, Rebelution will be unable to make their set at Summer Camp Music Festival today,” read an announcement on the SCAMP Facebook page. “But in their place, moe. and Pigeons Playing Ping Pong are teaming up and inviting other friends to join for an all-star jam.”

The surprise set included an opening take on The Beatles’ “Get Back” featuring both bands as well as “Happy Hour Hero,” with moe. and PPPP guitarist Jeremy Schon. Later, PPPP played their own “Poseidon” with moe.’s Chuck Garvey and both bands closed with a version of The Rolling Stones’ “Symphathy for the Devil.”

Summer Camp Music Festival continues this weekend. For more information visit the event’s official website.
