In support of their most recent album, To Believe–the band’s first release in 12 years–The Cinematic Orchestra recorded an Apogee Session at Bob Clearmountain’s Santa Monica, California studio for KCRW’s Morning Becomes Eclectic.  In addition to two sets of three compositions apiece, as well as an encore of “All That You Give,” the group’s leader, Jason Swinscoe, and producer, Dominic Smith, sat for an interview with KCRW’s host Garth Trinidad, discussing the new material and the London band’s lengthy absence.  The session, recorded and mixed by Clearmountain, premieres today and will stream at KCRW.
