Jenny Lewis made a surprise appearance at Terrapin Crossroads on Thursday night, performing with Phil Lesh & The Terrapin Family Band.

Lewis – who released her new album On the Line in March – hit the stage near the end of the band’s second set. She sang on a lengthy “Shakedown Street” jam that segued in and out of her own “You Are What You Love.”

Lewis also returned for the encore of “Sugaree.”
