Last weekend, The String Cheese Incident celebrated 4/20 in St. Louis, Mo., jamming out some fan favorites and paying tribute to the legendary Chuck Berry.
After opening with a rowdy “Colorado Bluebird Sky,” the band jammed through “Get Tight” with a segue into Miles Davis’ “All Blues” and a final movement through “Nothing But Flowers.”
From there, the band covered “You Can Never Tell” Chuck Berry – keenly aware the venue was in the rock-and- roller’s hometown of St. Louis – and closed the set out with “Best Feeling”> “The Big Reveal”> “Beautiful.”
Later, SCI closed their second half with a three-part “Way Back Home”> “Rivertrance”> “Rollover,” and treated fans to longtime favorite “Rosie” as an encore.
