Eric Clapton has scheduled a trio of headlining dates for this September, when the legendary guitarist will be gearing up for his previously announced Crossroads Festival in Texas.
Clapton and his band—featuring guitarist Doyle Bramhall II, multi-instrumentalist Paul Carrack, bassist Nathan East, drummer Steve Gadd, keyboardist Chris Stainton, and vocalists Sharon White and Katie Kissoon—will kick off the new dates Sept. 11 at San Francisco’s Chase Center before moving to Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena Sept. 13 and Phoenix, AZ’s Talking Stick Arena Sept. 14. Tickets for the shows go on sale this Friday, April 26, at 10 a.m. local time (a Chase pre-sale for the SF gig runs from April 23 at 10 a.m. PT to April 25 at 10 p.m. PT).
Clapton’s fifth Crossroads Festival is set for Sept. 20–21 in Dallas, TX, with guests like Derek Trucks, Bonnie Raitt, Susan Tedeschi, Gary Clark Jr., Jeff Beck, Peter Frampton, Sheryl Crow and Robert Randolph. All festival profits will go to The Crossroads Centre in Antigua.
