The gathering, which marks the ninth annual iteration for WSDaH, will be held at the Angel Orensanz Foundation in Manhattan. More information on the gathering can be found here.

Seriously...
April 23, 2019 at 9:02 amThis group is nothing more than “Deb” putting together and essentially selling lists of contact info for Wall Street related services. The music and party is the cover-up to obfuscate that end. It ain’t cheap to join or attend. Just another profit making entity that found a way to suckle off the Grateful Dead teat.

April 22, 2019 at 7:08 pmStop being mean to the 1% guys! These are the good folks that brought us insider trading and sub prime mortgages. Elderly are 2x as likely to be working now as in ‘85, so be kind! Keep your show biz outta soul biz WS (D a$$ h***les). Only in it for the Gold. Greed is good, be kind

April 21, 2019 at 4:15 pmI’ve been a member of WSDaH since 2015. (Side note: I’ve never worked on Wall Street). During the last few years, I’ve met the nicest, most generous, sincere, interesting people from all walks of life and love that we all share the common denominator of our love for The Grateful Dead. We all try to embrace what the Dead has been professing for years, to “be kind”. I never want to be stereotyped for being a Deadhead, and I think people are really missing the boat if they are stereotyping what WSDaH is all about. I can tell you from personal experience that I’ve met the most amazing, welcoming people in this group and I’m so glad I took a chance and checked them out in 2015.

April 21, 2019 at 10:51 amGreat group of folks both Wall Street and non Wall Street. Common bond is our love for The Dead. Regardless of occupation and political slant we bind together, respect and enjoy each other. We put focus and attention on our similarities and with that bring a positive vibe and experience to the world. WSDA has been an extremely positive experience for me and I very much look forward to the annual event!!

April 21, 2019 at 10:07 amWSDaH is home to the kindest, most welcoming folk I have ever met. Don’t hate the people, hate the construct or the structure of power (ie: wall street) itself. It is unproductive and a waste of time to hate other human beings.
Shouldn’t the Grateful Dead inspire unconditional peace? Does their wisdom and influence stop at the internet chatrooms where you can coward behind pseudonyms? Where is the love, friends? Let’s revive the peace and break away from negativity.

April 20, 2019 at 8:22 pmInteresting thread. Our community has always been about love, mutual respect, friendship and the music that has bonded us for the minute we heard it. I hate to see a discussion that becomes slinging dirt for no reason. Whether you work ON Wall Street or FOR Wall Street, you are part of the tribe.

April 20, 2019 at 4:51 pmI Love my WSDA family. WSDA Has shown me that music conquers all. Some think folks on Wall Street can’t be deadheads? Why?? The beauty of music is that it brings EVERYONE together. Those who’ll knock reading this, I wonder what they think when they’re dancing at a show, surrounded by thousands, hundreds, or maybe just a few others … does it matter then? Would you stop dancing?

April 20, 2019 at 4:03 pmI have worked on Wall St since 1983 and because of the economy generally and stagnant wages, will , like most people work as long as I can, hopefully until I am 75. I am a proud member of WSDA and welcome the love and friendship I find there. Almost everyone there has no direct connection to the financial services industry, but are vendors, aspiring entrepreneurs , or wage slaves like me
My first show was 1972 . In WSDA I have met people who, as a common denominator, love the music. More than good enough for me
As a side note, virtually everyone I work with on Wall St is appalled by the current political condition where , if you don’t agree with everything I say and think, you are the enemy. It looks like these comments , presumably from Deadheads , have fallen into that place. No place for hate friends. The person who disagrees with you, may jump in and help you someday
Love and Peace, as Ringo says ( to mix a metaphor)

April 21, 2019 at 10:39 amIts Peace & Love, you moron, Peace & Love, not Love & Peace. Go ahead and look into WSDA, the HUNDREDS they want to attend their one elitist party a year or the THOUSANDS they require to sponsor and give away trinkets. Clearly they have embraced the spirit of Wall Street …

April 20, 2019 at 2:51 pmThis group is my jamily, family and friends. If only the rest of the community were truly as inclusive, warm and non-judgmental as the members of WSDaH. Don’t knock what you don’t know anything about and as Bobby say STFU
We Are Everywhere
April 20, 2019 at 12:28 pmI know it’s hard but you started with the judgements. It’s about the music not what some on does for a living, their color or religion. You just are a twat Greg.
Oh and I’d like quarter pounder meal supersize for me bitch. LOL
We Are Every Where
April 20, 2019 at 12:06 pmWell fuck you Greg and User. There are deadheads at the highest levels of every firm on wall street. It’s about the music, I don’t come to your jobs and knock the d$cks out of your mouths, no judgement. You gotta do what you gotta do. You can still mow our lawns, fix our cars and serve us dinner c$nt wipes
Wake up to find out your retired at 45.

April 20, 2019 at 4:55 pmThe best way to be the change is to be part of what you want to change. We’ve all been lucky enough to find other kind folk in a setting that’s not always – RU Kind ?

April 19, 2019 at 5:37 pmPeople on Wall Street devote their lives to increasing the gap between rich and poor. F**k them.

April 19, 2019 at 5:01 pm@Douche… Ripping on anyone by implying you are somehow better or they are not worthy seems very hypocritical to your underlying point! Yes, Wall Street can be seen as greed central but not everyone there is and seems the Dead community is a welcoming community which just might be a good thing to help curb a greedy mindset, ya know?
We Are Everywhere
April 19, 2019 at 4:37 pmWhy? We are everywhere and at all levels of Wallstreet. A job precludes one from loving great music?
