On April 5, Dopapod guitarist Rob Compa sat in with jam trio Cycles at Burlington’s Higher Ground for a surprise, rocking version of Cream’s “White Room.”
The one-song sit-in served as a warm up for Compa, who later sat in with headliners Pigeons Playing Ping Pong for a far-reaching “While My Guitar Gently Weeps”> “Lightning” jam.
Compa will return to the stage with his usual outfit Dopapod on April 27 at The Capitol Theatre, ending a year-plus hiatus. Dopapod have also announced a new album Emit Time, due on May 24.
