On April 11, Tank and the Bangas made their TV debut on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon performing a new tune dubbed “Nice Things.”

The band broke through in 2017 after winning NPR’s coveted Tiny Desk Contest, beating out 6,000 entrants to perform on the web-based showcase.

“Tank and the Bangas is like a psychedelic joy rap explosion,” Phish guitarist and Tiny Desk judge Trey Anastasio said at the time. “Like a female Sly Stone teleporting into 2017 and landing in New Orleans.”

Tank and the Bangas’ second studio album Green Balloon is due on May 3 via Verve Forecast. For more information click here.
