Widespread Panic played their second of three nights in Washington DC on Saturday, offering two full sets as well as a revival of Van Morrison’s “And It Stoned Me.”

The show began with a pairing of Space Wragler cuts “The Take Out” and “Porch Song” and continued on with “Can’t Get High,” “Holden Oversoul” and “Old Neighborhood.” Later, the band served up fan favorite “Airplane,” as well as a two-part “Rebirtha”> “Sleeping Man” segment and a set-ending “Ain’t Life Grand.”

The second half kicked off with a massive “Proving Ground” jam containing a segue in and out of “Impossible.”

From there,WSP performed “Pickin’ Up The Pieces” and “Diner”> “Junior.”  Perhaps the biggest jam of the night followed, as Widespread Panic explored “Surprise Valley”> “Drums”> “Cease Fire”> “I’m Not Alone.”

The set ended with “Love Tractor,” and WSP encored with “North” and the aforementioned “And It Stoned Me” bustout (last heard at the band’s Panic En La Playa event in January 2018).
